Crime Watch Message
Hello Neighbors!
Thank you for your service in support of our neighborhood! Together we are stronger and you are the glue that holds us together.
Our National Night Out occurs every October. The Richardson Police Department website states the following as its mission:
“National Night Out, a year-long community building campaign, is designed to:
- Heighten crime prevention awareness;
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships;
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.”
If you have any interest in serving as a block captain, please apply here. The duties are simply forwarding emails of significance and helping to organize National Night Out for your block. The benefits include assuming a leadership role, getting to know your neighbors better and earning the warm feeling of knowing you are making a difference.
*If you see something suspicious or want to report an incident or crime please call 911
