As an early heads-up, please be aware that beginning Tuesday, August 3rd, the City will be moving brush collection (BABIC) and recycling from those of us who currently receive service on Friday to Tuesday. The area that will be impacted is bordered by PGBT on the North, Custer Rd and the KCS Railroad on the west and south and US. Hwy 75 on the east. Trash pickup will remain Tuesdays and Fridays. We have had higher population growth to the North and in the Panhandle and it is causing our hard-working employees to finish in the dark on Friday or even be forced to complete the work on Saturday.
Please continue to show appreciation for these essential workers whenever the opportunity presents itself. Thank you. ... See MoreSee Less

Last year, the scourge that swept our Great Nation caused us to cancel the acclaimed Canyon Creek Independence Day Parade. This year, on Saturday, July 3rd, we are going to resume with gusto!
As is our custom, Parade Participants will line up and stage at II Creeks beginning at 8:00 am. If you would like to enter, please register here: canyoncreekhomeowners.com/parade-entry/
Shady’s and The Wine Authority will be active and perhaps other local merchants will be offering their wares as well! (I’ve heard credible rumors of Wine Authority Mimosas!) Thank you for supporting our neighbors who own these local businesses!
We will travel to Tam O’Shanter and culminate at the Club where merriment and festivities will be abundantly present. Our own Richardson Symphony Orchestra will provide a quintet and perform standards that will make your heart soar with pride in our Country!
This is an opportunity like no other to teach our children well as the song suggests and there will be activities and mirth that will add to the memories they make.
In the spirit of the children, we will also have a U-Haul (sadly the Network truck is in the shop) collecting kiddo friendly items for those whose need exceeds their ability to provide. Please bring food with an emphasis on single-serving, easy to prepare items. The Network ALWAYS needs diapers of all sizes as well. Feel free to clean out your pantry or make a run to Tom Thumb! This has been a 16 month year like no other and if you are fortunate, please consider giving and if you are in need, please receive at Network at 741 South Sherman.
Let us pause, take notice and Honor America. Thank You. ... See MoreSee Less
